a bit about me
I’m taking a sign language class this year and I already absolutely love it. I have a really intense desire to memorize everything right as I learn it which obviously helps in a class.
I’ve always been super interested in it.
When I was younger my mom was a sub special ed teacher at my school and one of the main instructors taught me the basics. So I’ve known the alphabet and...

In case you missed it. It was so good. I loved the dance sequence because she changed all her moves and made it totally masculine. Gaga is just perfect.

I've had minimal internet
Access since I’ve been home.
But I thought it might be interesting to note:
I’ve been searching through my old writing notebooks and this one is from 2008. I wrote this line about someone who has been in my life since I was 13 years old.
“But the song ended and life snatched us back to opposite corners once again.”
This person is still in my life somehow. I would have...

College is
so weird. We all know each other and we only know each other based on this little world we started when we left our parents homes and began as freshman. It’s like another world. I don’t think my friends from HS and college could ever merge everyone’s so different.
Just in 2 years so much has happened. We have bonded with certain people and grown to hate others. We’ve had...

Today
is my last day at my internship.
I’ve loved more than anything having a magazine office building in NYC that expected me at certain days and hours. I loved having a place here. And I learned so much, probably more than I learn in a semester of college. I know after this summer that I HAVE to permanently move to NYC after college.
I had previous doubts that I may want to pick up and move to...
